No Math Homework Tonight

We are two primary teachers at the University of Ottawa completing our Primary Junior mathematics specialist qualifications. We created this blog mainly as a resource for primary mathematics teachers and parents of such students. Rich and meaningful mathematics does not require pencil and paper type traditional "homework". Essential mathematics concepts and an understanding of them can be gained and reinforced through stories and games.
